Merlo Hydrostatic Transmission
The Merlo 38.13 has a hydrostatic transmission with EPD (Eco Power Drive) as standard. Merlo's hydrostatic transmissions are designed to improve precision, safety, and ease of use.
Self Accelerating Joystick
The self-accelerating Joystick is adopted as the standard, through which more speed of the boom's hydraulic movements is possible. This helps optimize the performance of the Merlo 38.13 telehandler. The system activates beyond the threshold of 20% of the movements of the joystick.

Merlo's Continuous Variable Transmission
The Merlo 38.13 telehandler has a CVTronic transmission that follows Merlo's traditions in the hydrostatic field and ensures smooth acceleration without interrupting torque from 0 to 40 hm/hr. At low works speeds, the 38.13's axles function in conjunction to provide maximum torque, with an increase of + 12% with respect to conventional hydrostatic transmissions.

TOWING HOOK
The Merlo 38.13 telehandler has a mechanical PTO 540/1000 that can be conveniently selected from the cab. The towing hook has a 21 ton capacity with pneumatic and hydraulic braking.
AUTOMATIC ATTACHMENT RECOGNITION
The CDC system of the Merlo 38.13 automatically recognizes the attachment fitted and consequently calibrates its performance in relation to specific load charts. The operator can then check at any time the dynamic equilibrium of the vehicle thanks to the led screen or traffic light on the front upright.
UNIQUE BOOM FEATURES
The Merlo 38.13 Turbofarmer has a boom cartridge extension system and the hydraulic hoses are hidden inside the boom. This patented solution is still easy to access if maintenance is needed. The Merlo 38.13 also has a tac-lock hydraulic attachment clamping system that's available from the cab.
